Direct Mail Service Providers Can Get Promotional Links at USPS Site

SUMMARY: No summary available
Do you provide direct mail-related services such as postal list
rentals, creative, printing or lettershop services? The US Post
Office now helps companies like yours market themselves online
through links at its Web site (see link below.) Nope,
emarketing-only vendors are not invited to apply; and yes, we are
aware of the irony inherent in the USPS marketing mail-only
services through the Web.

So far the USPS has chosen five companies to participate in this
"Small Business Direct Mail Interactive Merchant Program"
including ThinkDirectMarketing.com a Web site allowing marketers
buy and download postal mailing lists. USPS spokesperson Marty
Emery told us to get your company included on this site, you must
have a Web site for them to hotlink to, and in addition your
company "must conform to our Corporate Affiliate Policy" and be
"evaluated on the quality of [your] technical, marketing and
accounting plans." Got questions? Go to the site below or email
