-> MIMC Interactive Leadership Awards

The Massachusetts Interactive Media Council (MIMIC) is seeking
nominations for some cool categories including "Unsung Hero",
"Most Innovative Company" and "Entrepreneur of the Year."
Individual nominees must live in New England (not just Mass.)
Nominated companies must have "significant presence" there.
Entries are free. Deadline May 3rd.

-> IIR Speaking Gigs - year round

The Institute for International Research (IIR) puts on about 50-
60 highly targeted, high price marketing-related events per year.
Attendees pay between $1700-$2400 per ticket to hear experts talk
on topics such as "Brand Identity" or "Web-based Surveys."
Speakers are generally not compensated, but you do get the full
attention of a room full of marketing pros with serious budgets
(Hey they had to afford the ticket.)

IIR event producers are open to discussing speaking gigs with
execs in the field (such as your head of marketing) and with
